HOME OF TRUE TO TYPE WELSH COBS

The "Rode" Stud has been established in 1987. I first bought the mare Dwyfor Anabell ( sire: GelerTywysog ap Braint ) with a colt foal at foot. His name was Lindeberg Break Dance. The sire of Dance was Glantraeth JR Comet, by Tyhen Comet.
From the start, I decided to breed on concentrating by close line-breeding to famous Pentre Eiddwen Comet.
Today, there live three Welsh Cobs at my stud, called Geler Llewellyn, Geler Ryan and David's Josephine, all line breed to Pentre Eiddwen Comet.
My aim ist to breed "TRUE TO TYPE" Welsh Cobs. This means a lot of expression, good flat bone, a good length of neck (front), a good shoulder, strong muscled hind quarters, a moderate quantity of silky feather, a good head with big bold eyes and the traditional Welsh Cob action.
This is the Welsh Cob which has been bred over the years in the Cardi Land.
This is not the English Cob but the real Welsh Cob.
